What is The Construct?
The meaning of the name comes from my natural desire and propensity to learn and apply in all aspects of creativity. I am a construct of many different facets that I’ve managed to gather along my life. Be it Photography, Animation, Front End Development, Digital Painting, Design, Illustration and a host of others too many to mention. I believe a broader education and interest makes me a better communicator.
Who is Hernan Valencia?
Graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m the founder and principal of the design studio The Construct Creative, an AIGA member, an avid photographer and bass player. I’ve worked for clients such as Starbucks, Disney, FedEx, SoFA street festival and Vox Wine Lounge focusing on designing websites, collateral, branding campaigns and illustration that maintain a balance of beauty and accessibility. My aim is to achieve an effective communicative vehicle for empowerment as well as describing my clients’ character and goals. To be happy doing what I do and have others feel the same.
